I’ve been wanting a ds on and off for a while. I’ve been looking into it again recently and found a pink 3ds for sale that I like. I researched some and if I do get a ds I want a 3ds. The problem is all the ones I’m finding for a price and in a color I want are from Japan. Some of those are region locked and some of them say they’re already region free. I read a bit about changing the language on Reddit but it seems a little complicated and confusing. I’m just afraid I’ll either not be able to get it set to English or screw it up trying to. I’ve never had any kind of gaming console before. I’ve literally just had my phone and my iPad. I don’t know anything about having to mod a ds. I just think I’d really like one and found a bunch of games I’d like to play.

So is it

A.) not that hard and I should just buy a Japanese one and figure it out

B.) buy one that’s already modded or in English for more money

C.) get a psp or just give up because it’s not worth the trouble
